There were plenty of misfortunes that could have befallen Vayle and me as we sat at the fountain, pondering our revelation concerning Sybil Tath’s wedding. Definitely a good read, with a well thought out story and fleshed out characters. The main character/narrator reminds me of Deadpool--saracastic, crude, and ready to kill at a moment's notice. So it's really not for younger readers. I'm enjoying the second book already.
